Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant ( not included) while members of the community show us their dances, textiles and other unique cultural expressions. Later, about 1.45 pm, we hike to the main port and descend some 500 steps down to the dock. At 2.30pm we depart to continue our journey to the Luquina community on the Chucuito Peninsula. There, we are welcomed by the friendly inhabitants and accommodated in a local family home stay. Take some time to learn about the local culture and in the late afternoon there is an optional hike to the top of a nearby hill for an unforgettable Titicaca sunset.
