Itinerary

Day 01: Puno to Eternal – lake House & Activities

07:00 am. Transfer to the port of the city to embark at The Titicaca Uncovered deluxe motorboat. After departing enjoy of an onboard tasting experience “Peru History in flavors”.

08:30 am. Arrival to a community at the lake shores, there we are welcomed by the staff of Eternal – lake Hose. Enjoying an herbal tea together with your private guide start planning and choosing some of the different included activities to explore the natural & cultural marvels of the area.

Hike to ritual site of the local community atop of the mountain
Lunch with a traditional Aymaran family
Rowing boat rides or sea kayak at the lake
Short hikes to explore the community
Afternoon tea & sunset at bonfire

06:45 pm. A la carte dinner with wines, after dinner time at the chimney area to enjoy Andean legends. Optionally if the sky aloud stars gazing to learn about the Incan constellations.

Overnight at Eternal – Lake House

Facilities and Installations. The Eternal – Lake House was built with adobe and native materials & with sacred geometry proportions. It has all the necessary facilities for a pleasant stay. Hot showers, heaters, goose duvet blankets, rooms with panoramic lake views, chimney, small meditation & relaxation hall with views facing sunset and sun rice. In addition has an outside hot bathtub & bon fire area.

Note: Holds 4 rooms and all the installations remain available as a private hutch for the guests. The remarkable location by the Lake shores assures a memorable Lake Titicaca Experience.

Day 02: Taquile Island – Santa Maria – Uros reed islands - Puno

08:25 am. After a great breakfast, enjoying the lake landscapes we take the Titicaca Uncovered motorboat.

08:55 am. Arrival at Taquile Island, there we have an encounter with the local community & learn about the “Textile arts” that has been declared by UNESCO as immaterial world heritage. Observe the ancient traditions & dances of the islanders have been well preserved due to isolation.

Later a pre-Incan pathway with extraordinary views over Lake Titicaca will lead us to a pristine sandy beach, have some time to relax and feel the serenity of the highest navigable lake in the world. Approximately at 11:45 am. we leave the island.

12:10 am. approximately arrival to Santa Maria community at the extreme of the peninsula of Capachica. Welcome by the locals, there we are introduced in an intensive cross-cultural experience, be part of the ceremony of opening of the “Pachamanca” a traditional way of cooking using underground ovens. After enjoying these delicacies in a small but very scenic restaurant Visit the “Titicaca navigators” Interpretation center to learn about the navigation and ancient sea fairing in Peru & Lake Titicaca.

02:00 pm Arrival to a remote area of the National Reserve of Lake Titicaca to explore the UROS Ccapi & Titino region. These are considered as the last authentic Uros reed floating islands, less commercial and little visited. The Uros are descendants of one of the oldest human groups in South America, learning about their extraordinary history and the reasons that led them to make a home into the reed banks. Optional tours in reed boats. On the way back to Puno enjoy of a Peruvian Pisco drink on board.

4:10 pm Arrival in Puno and transfer back to your hotel.
