Uros Floating Islands + Amantani Island (L, D)
08:00 AM: Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the port. We depart by motorboat to visit the Uros floating reed islands. Explore two of the islands; traditional reed boat rides are also available upon request.
01:00 PM: After a scenic 3-hour boat journey, we arrive at Amantani Island. At the port, our group splits into smaller groups for homestays. Your designated host family will welcome you with a traditional lunch made from fresh, local ingredients.
Afternoon: Enjoy an optional soccer match with the locals and hike to the highest point of the island to take in a stunning sunset.
Evening: After dinner, your host family will dress you in traditional local attire and accompany you to the community hall for a lively local celebration.
Overnight home stay with a host family (basic facilities).
Amantani / Taquile / Puno (B)
08:00 AM: Breakfast with your host family before departing for Taquile Island. After a 1-hour boat ride, a gently ascending path leads us to the main village, where we visit the community cooperative. Enjoy incredible views and plenty of photo opportunities along the way.
Lunch: Optional lunch at a local restaurant with breathtaking lake views.
01:00 PM: After descending the 500 steps to the port, we begin our 3-hour return journey to Puno.
04:00 PM: Arrival in Puno and transfer back to your hotel.
Important Notes:
Group Service: In the group service, homestays are basic and standards can vary as host families are assigned directly by the local community authority. As a responsible tour operator, we respect community governance and guidelines. While we do not directly manage the homestay facilities, this guarantees a genuinely authentic cultural experience.
Group Size: Daily group trips depart with 30 to 40 people; In 15-meter-long motorboats, with individual bus type seats & toilette.
Private Service Advantage: A private tour allows for flexible scheduling, enabling an earlier return to Puno on the second day (around 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM) if you need a transfer to the airport. It also allows for higher service quality during the homestay.
