Sillustani Pre-Inca Cemetery – Half Day
14:00 – Pick-up from your hotel in Puno. We travel by bus through the Altiplano “the High Plains”, observing the typical flora and rural countryside along the way. Upon arriving at the Sillustani Peninsula, we take a guided tour to learn about local beliefs in the afterlife while admiring the massive funerary towers known as Chullpas. The peninsula is surrounded by Lake Umayo, offering an extraordinary contrast of colors and landscapes. On our return to Puno, we will visit a traditional local farmhouse.
17:30 – Approximate arrival back in Puno.
