Port Titicaca
Day 1: Kayak Crossing to Taquile Island & Cultural Immersion
- 07:00 AM – Hotel Pickup & Transfer: We will pick you up from your hotel in Puno and transfer you to the port. From there, we travel by motorboat toward our kayak base camp at Llachón (Santa María).
- 08:30 AM – Gear Up & Safety Briefing: Meet the professional crew of Titicaca Kayak Company (our specialized kayak division). Following a comprehensive safety briefing and paddling instructions from your certified guide, you will be suited to premium kayak equipment.
- 09:00 AM – Kayak Crossing to Taquile Island (10 km): Begin paddling across the open water toward Taquile Island (approx. 2.5 hours). Feel the immense scale and deep peace of Lake Titicaca perfect retreat from the noise of the city. A motorized security escort boat will always accompany the group.
- 12:00 PM – Arrival, Trout Lunch & Cultural Stay: Arrive at Taquile Island and take a short walk to your accommodation at a charming rural lodge. Enjoy a fresh, delicious local trout for lunch. Taquile is a true cultural jewel where the inhabitants proudly preserve their unique textile traditions and traditional dress.
- 03:30 PM – Sunset Hike: In the afternoon, embark on a scenic hike to the island’s highest temple to witness a spectacular sunset over the lake—an experience many consider deeply spiritual. Dinner and overnight at the rural lodge.

Puerto Taquile
Day 2: Kayak Crossing to Amantaní Island
- 08:00 AM – Breakfast with a View: Enjoy a traditional breakfast on Taquile Island.
- 09:00 AM – Kayaking from Taquile to Amantaní (12 km): Launch your sea kayak for a 2.5 to 3-hour crossing to Amantaní Island. As you paddle, take in the stunning views of the snow-capped Andes mountains bordering the lake over in Bolivia.
- 12:00 PM – Homestay Check-in & Family Lunch: Upon arrival at Amantaní Island, receive a warm welcome from the local families and head to your homestay accommodation for a freshly prepared lunch.
- 03:00 PM – Sanctuary Hike & Local Celebration: In the afternoon, we hike to one of the island’s two sacred summits (Pachatata or Pachamama) to watch the sunset. Afterward, enjoy a home-cooked dinner followed by a joyful traditional celebration with the host families. Overnight at the homestay.

Llachon
Day 3: Kayak to Llachón & Visit the Uros Floating Islands
- 08:00 AM – Breakfast with your Hosts: Enjoy a final breakfast with your host family before heading to the shore.
- 09:00 AM – Kayak Back to Llachón Base Camp (10 km): Paddle from Amantaní back to Santa María – Llachón. Enjoy another morning of pristine water, open landscapes, and unique lake views.
- 11:30 AM – Motorboat Navigation to the Uros Islands: Upon arriving at Llachón, we transition to our motorboat and cruise toward the world-famous Uros Floating Islands.
- 01:00 PM – Discover the Reed Islands: Step onto the incredible floating platforms constructed entirely out of totora reeds. Meet the friendly Uros inhabitants, who are incredibly skilled artisans and fishermen. You can opt to have lunch on the island (not included) or arrange a traditional reed boat ride with the locals.
- 03:30 PM – Return to Puno: Arrive back at the Puno port and enjoy a seamless transfer to your selected hotel. End of services.
