Taquile Classic by Speedboat – 1-Day
07:00 AM – Hotel Transfer & Uros Islands Pick-up from your hotel in Puno and transfer to the port to join the group. Board a comfortable covered motorboat (equipped for weather protection) and set sail for the floating islands of Uros. Explore the unique reed houses, meet the welcoming locals, and learn about their traditional way of life. Optional rides on traditional reed boats are available before continuing to Taquile.
11:30 AM – Arrival at Taquile Island Arrive at Taquile Island and take a scenic 45-minute uphill hike to the main village, enjoying panoramic views of Lake Titicaca along the way. Known worldwide for its exquisite hand-woven textiles, the local community will present a cultural demonstration showcasing their unique heritage.
01:00 PM – Local Lunch Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant featuring stunning lake views. Afterwards, descending a scenic pathway back down to the island’s port.
02:00 PM – Return Journey Depart Taquile Island by boat and begin the return trip to Puno.
03:30 PM – 04:00 PM – Arrival in Puno Arrive at the port in Puno, followed by a transfer back to your hotel.
