Aymara Route – Full Day
08:00 – 08:10 am: Pick-up from your hotel in Puno. We travel south by bus, stopping first at the village of Chucuito to visit Inca Uyo, the Inca temple of fertility, famous for its unique phallic sculptures. Along the way, we observe the ancient Waru Waru (raised field) farming systems, which feature giant geometric patterns across the landscape.
Next, we visit Ajayu Marca, an area renowned for its extraordinary geological formations, where we find the mysterious Aramu Muru gateway, an ancient ritual site. Involved in fantastic legends. We then continue to the historic town of Juli, where we visit one of its celebrated colonial churches. After enjoying a traditional local lunch, we begin our return journey.
04:30 am: Approximate arrival back in Puno.
